Childminding
At The Garden of Eden

Our Shared Approach Daily Routine

Get to Know Us

The Garden of Eden Hub is home to two independent, Ofsted-registered childminders who work side by side within a shared setting, united by common values and a nurturing approach to early years care.

Each childminder operates their own individual childcare service, holding responsibility for their policies, contracts, and day-to-day care, while working collaboratively within the calm, welcoming environment of the hub.

Inspired by the teachings of Jesus and the Fruits of the Spirit, their shared ethos is centred on nurturing children with kindness, patience, and joy, creating a home-from-home atmosphere where every child feels safe, loved, and supported.

In line with the EYFS, the childminders believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace, and they are committed to creating a safe, nurturing space where each child can flourish.

All children and families are warmly welcomed, regardless of religion, culture, or personal beliefs. Diversity is celebrated, and every family is respected, included, and valued within the setting.

‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

~ Mark 12:31

SEND and Inclusion

A love for the outdoors is woven into daily practice, with nature seen as a rich and meaningful place for learning, exploration, and discovery. As an inclusive setting, the childminders are passionate about supporting children and families with SEND, recognising that every child is unique and deserving of care that nurtures their individual strengths, interests, and needs. Through outdoor play, meaningful experiences, gentle reflection, and strong partnerships with families, they hope to create a safe and nurturing environment where all children feel valued, supported, and able to flourish while planting seeds of love, hope, and faith in age-appropriate and inclusive ways.
